Level CS – Cargo Supervisor

Air Cargo Security courses are modular, each level builds on the training received at a lower level. For example, a Level CS candidate will have received all modules delivered to Levels CASP, CO & COS before receiving training in the modules specific to Level CS (modules for Level CAP are not delivered on TrainingTeam’s scheduled courses). Level CS is intended for a supervisor within a Regulated Cargo Agent with day to day operational responsibilities.

Generally policy and procedures are set in place under the authority of the Security Manager, it is then left to the supervisory staff to implement. Of course, not all cargo agents will have s specific supervisor level within their structure, it’s then down to the Security Manager to identify the most appropriate person to assume this responsibility. (It is not a specific requirement that an agent must have level CS trained people. However, if the Security Manager is off site a suitably trained stand-in would be a very wise precaution).
